Our practice engages in 3D digital dentistry.  It is revolutionary allowing traditional dental impressions to be replaced with highly accurate 3D digital scan of the teeth and bite.  It allows us to design crowns, onlays, inlays and make adjustments in real time then transmit the file wirelessly for processing.  Digital impressions are taken when the restoration is clearly visible above the gum line and when the gums are healthy.  Otherwise traditional impressions are taken and placed into a 3-D digital scanner for processing.  Our laboratory scans impressions and models with the Nobel Biocare Procera scanner and with the Zirkon Zahn scanner.
